Tire Derived Fuel & Aggregate

Tire derived fuel (TDF) and tire derived aggregate (TDA) are the result of over 55% of the recycled tires in the USA. TDF is a coal additive that burns cleaner and at a higher BTU than coal. It is rarely burned by itself. TDA is used in civil engineering projects that require extra vibration and noise reduction.
Recycled rubber provides a solution for both. The amount of rubber being
used for TDF/TDA is shrinking do to the innovative products that are
being developed using recycled tires.
Tire derived aggregate (TDA) is recycled tires cut into size specific chips, and utilized for a wide range of public works projects and civil engineering applications. The material provides the following characteristics:
Lightweight fill
Permeable, free-draining
Vibration mitigating
Low earth pressure
Good thermal insulator
Durable
Compressible
We sell TDA to meet the following material specifications:
TDA Type-A 2” minus
TDA Type-B 6” minus
